Blanche is isolated from many characters in the play: Stanley, Mitch, Eunice, and even her own sister Stella. How do relations between Blanche and the other characters affect Blanche throughout the play? (origin of her madness?)
Hey Blog, I wanted to post something that reminded me of heart of darkness but there was nowhere to do it! Therefore I'm just going to post it here. A cousin of mine sent me a video called "La cena". It's a video art piece about nature as a carnivorous force and at the very end there is a small allusion to a scene in Heart of Darkness :) I thought it illustrated well the fact that nature is its own force with it's own cycle and how when a man dies he joins that nature (very Kurtz-ish I would say). Check it out. http://vimeo.com/36836412
